I just finished reading the book and am left very disappointed. I love the concept but the characters were not developed enough so you could get to know them. The book was very short, with large letters, short chapters and many pages only half full. I would have loved to get to know Sarah and husband Alex and what really caused their unhappiness. It was hinted at but then released in a chunk here and there. Where was the story of her affair? Everything was just so suddenly talked about with no prior development. Then the daughter appeared on the scene with no background. This could have been a wonderful book if these characters had been presented with their whole story. I felt like I was reading a sequel, so much so that I went online to see if I missed the first book that told the beginning story.Product details

The story about second chances was really good. Not sure why the previous reviewer was so harsh. Sometimes "less is more". I recommend it.
